Terms of use

Jukipto is a Spanish cryptocurrency portal: we publish prices and market data, news (in Spanish), guides, a glossary of terms and calculation tools (a compound interest calculator and a crypto tax calculator for Spain). These terms govern the use of the site; they do not govern the content itself, which has its own rules in the editorial policy.

This is not financial advice

Nothing published on Jukipto —articles, data, comparisons or calculator results— is a personalised investment recommendation, and none of it replaces advice from an authorised professional. What we do and do not do is set out in the financial disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

Acceptable use of the site and its tools

You can use Jukipto and its tools normally: read, check prices, work out a tax figure with the tax calculator or simulate compound interest. You may not use the site to introduce malicious code, try to access private areas without authorisation, overload the service with automated requests beyond what is reasonable, or copy and redistribute the content as if it were your own.

Calculator results depend on the data you enter and on market prices at the time of the calculation: they are a simulation, not a forecast or an official tax assessment.

Accounts

Registering is optional. An account lets you save your favourite coins and keep a personal portfolio, and for now it is only available on the Spanish version of Jukipto. If you register, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what happens on your account while you are logged in. You can close your account whenever you like from your profile.

The portfolio works out your positions and, when you import transactions, your gain or loss for tax purposes using the FIFO method that Spanish rules require. It is a support tool: filing your taxes correctly remains your responsibility.

Intellectual property

Jukipto's texts, design and code belong to whoever publishes the site, unless stated otherwise. You may quote and link to our content; you may not reproduce it in full on another site without permission. The market data we show —prices, market capitalisation, volumes, stock quotes— comes from external providers such as CoinGecko, and the register of authorised providers comes from ESMA. That data still belongs to its source.

Affiliate and third-party links

Some links to exchanges and products are affiliate links: if you open an account or buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and they are marked as such. We also link to third-party sites —media, regulators, documentation— over which we have no control or responsibility: linking to them does not mean we endorse everything they say. Availability of the service

We do what is reasonable to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee it. There may be outages for maintenance, because of a failure on our side or on an external provider's —starting with the price API—, and we may change, limit or withdraw a tool or a section without prior notice.

Liability

You use Jukipto at your own risk. We are not liable for the decisions you make with the information published, for damage arising from an outage, or for what happens on a third-party site we link to. If you spot a mistake in a figure or a calculation, write to us and we will correct it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the site or the rules that apply to us change. The date of the last review is always the one you see at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the version in force.

Social media

We publish our own content —news, quotes and editorial pieces— on networks such as Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. What we publish there is ours and is subject to the same rules as this document and the editorial policy; we are not responsible for third-party content on those platforms or for their own terms of use.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, nothing in them limits the rights the law gives you or the courts it entitles you to.
