About Jukipto

Last reviewed: September 15, 2026

Jukipto is a Spanish cryptocurrency portal. We publish prices and market data, comparisons between coins, a glossary of terms and articles about what is going on in the sector.

It is a small, independent project. We do not belong to any exchange, fund or token issuer, and nobody pays us to speak well of a particular project. When a link is an affiliate link, you will see it marked as such on the page itself.

Where the data comes from

Prices, market capitalisations, volumes and all-time highs come from the public CoinGecko API and are updated every fifteen minutes. We neither calculate them nor adjust them: they are whatever CoinGecko is publishing at that moment.

We also keep a daily snapshot of the market — the top one hundred coins, with their price, market capitalisation and volume — in our own database. That historical series is what lets us say things like "it has been rising for four days" or "the combined market capitalisation has grown 3% this week", which cannot be worked out from today's figure alone. When we do not have enough history to state something, we say so on the page instead of filling in the gap.

What we do NOT do

  • We do not give investment advice. We are not an investment services firm and we are not registered as one. Nothing we publish is a recommendation to buy or to sell. Read the financial disclaimer.
  • We do not publish price predictions. For a while this site had a "prediction" page for every coin. The calculation was the day's price multiplied by 1.5, identical for all one hundred coins. We have withdrawn it: it was a multiplication dressed up as analysis, and in finance that is not done. In its place we show real, dated references — highs, lows, performance over different periods — inside each coin's own page.
  • We do not copy articles from other outlets.

How we are funded

With advertising and with affiliate links to exchanges. An affiliate link means that, if you open an account through it, we earn a commission and you pay nothing extra. Those links are marked and carry the rel="sponsored" attribute, which is the standard way of telling a search engine that there is a commercial relationship behind it.

An exchange paying us a commission does not change what we write about it. If you ever read anything on this site that looks to you like a contradiction of that, tell us.

Who signs the articles

Articles are signed by J. Aguilar, who edits Jukipto. Nothing is published without him having read it: he reviews the content and the figures and decides what goes out and what does not. How each piece is produced and reviewed is set out in the editorial policy.

Contact and corrections

Write to info@jukipto.com. If you point out an error in a figure or in an article, we correct it and leave a record of the change; how we do that is set out in the editorial policy.

If you would like to see our news first in Google, you can add Jukipto as a preferred source.
