Since 1 July 2026 only platforms authorised under MiCA may operate in Spain. These ones are and have the pair open — two different things, and both worth checking. You can verify the authorisation yourself in the register we keep up to date:
Is this your first purchase? Before opening an account, read how to buy cryptocurrency in Spain step by step: the right order, what they will ask you for and what you pay extra if you press the wrong button.
Being authorised does not mean they are the best option for you: it means they may operate legally. Fees and service are something you have to look at separately. This is not investment advice.
Availability checked on 21/09/2026. We cannot say either way for Bitpanda: it does not publish its list of trading pairs.
And when you sell at a profit, it has to be declared: work out what you pay in Spanish income tax using the FIFO method the tax office requires. And if you hold more than €50,000 on platforms outside Spain, you also have to file form 721, which is informational and costs nothing.
Nano trades under the ticker XNO and ranks #469 by market capitalisation in the CoinGecko catalogue. It runs on its own blockchain, using the Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) algorithm. CoinGecko lists it under smart contract platforms and layer 1 chains.
Nano, a low-latency cryptocurrency built on an innovative block-lattice data structure offering unlimited scalability and no transaction fees. Nano by design is a simple protocol with the sole purpose of being a high-performance cryptocurrency. The Nano protocol can run on low-power hardware, allowing it to be a practical, decentralized cryptocurrency for everyday use. It uses an ORV (Open Representative Voting) consensus algorithm, which is similar to PoS (Proof of Stake) but without inflationary rewards not locking of the native coin XNO. The original Nano (RailBlocks) paper and first beta implementation were published in December, 2014, making it one of the first Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) based cryptocurrencies [6]. Soon after, other DAG cryptocurrencies began to develop, most notably DagCoin/Byteball and IOTA. These DAG-based cryptocurrencies broke the blockchain mold, improving system performance and security. Byteball achieves consensus by relying on a “main-chain” comprised of honest, reputable and user-trusted “witnesses”, while IOTA achieves consensus via the cumulative PoW of stacked transactions. Nano achieves consensus via a balance-weighted vote on conflicting transactions. This consensus system provides quicker, more deterministic transactions while still maintaining a strong, decentralized system. Nano continues this development and has positioned itself as one of the highest performing cryptocurrencies. Nano is a trustless, feeless, low-latency cryptocurrency that utilizes a novel blocklattice structure and delegated Proof of Stake voting. The network requires minimal resources, no high-power mining hardware, and can process high transaction throughput. All of this is achieved by having individual blockchains for each account, eliminating access issues and inefficiencies of a global data-structure. We identified possible attack vectors on the system and presented arguments on how Nano is resistant to these forms of attacks. Check out CoinBureau for the complete review of Nano.

Price scenarios
What distance Nano would have to cover to reach its historical reference points.
See scenarios ↓Nano trades today at $0.390948. Its all-time high was $33.69, reached on January 1, 2018. Going back to that level would mean a rise of 8,517.5% from the current price, that is, multiplying it by 86.18.
At the other end, its all-time low was $0.026179 on July 15, 2017: from there the price has multiplied by 15. That path already happened and says nothing about the next one.

There is no method that reliably predicts the price of a cryptocurrency. It depends on regulation, on adoption, on interest rates, on the decisions of a handful of very large firms and on market sentiment — none of which follows from today's price. A figure twelve months out would not be analysis: it would be an invented number that looks like data.
What you can look at is right above, and it is verifiable: the all-time high and low with their dates, how far away each one is and the recent path. With that you decide for yourself, which is rather more than a figure with nothing behind it gives you.
